I really feel you—your story about burnout hit home because I went through something very similar myself back in 2020 during the pandemic. That period was honestly one of the toughest chapters of my life. The uncertainty, isolation, constant pressure to be “on” and available, and the sense that I had to handle everything alone… It all just piled up. It took me a long time to recover—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

During that time, I dove deep into self-reflection and studied a ton of stress management programs—everything from traditional approaches to modern neuroscience and energy work. But I kept noticing the same thing: most solutions only treated the symptoms, rarely the root cause of stress or how we’re wired to respond to it.

That’s what inspired me to develop my own holistic framework:

It addresses stress at its source (not just “putting out fires”)

It helps you reprogram how you respond to unavoidable stress, so you don’t fall back into old patterns

It offers practical tools to actually heal symptoms like anxiety, burnout, and chronic overwhelm

This approach is built on 35+ years of experience, blending ancient wisdom, modern science, and energy techniques that I now share in my programs and workshops.

If you’re interested, I’m happy to share a specific tool or practice that helped me climb out of that hole. And if anyone else here needs support or just a new perspective, feel free to reach out—sometimes a simple conversation or a shift in mindset can make all the difference.

Thank you for sharing your experience so honestly. If you want to learn more about my approach, you’re welcome to check out esoterictrips.com or dive deeper into my holistic stress transformation program at transform.esoterictrips.com.

Nic, this is brutally honest and painfully familiar. When you’ve spent years leading from instinct and ownership, being forced into alignment hell is like slow psychological erosion. Appreciate how clearly you name that- most founders never do :)
